Recognition and re-recognition

The Healthy FEdefinition and Skills programme has been around since 2009. In that time more than 130 learning providers of all different types have gained the 2-year Healthy FE and Skills 'recognition' status. Since October 2012, many of them have completed the process for a second time and gained re-recognition.

We congratulate all those who used the recognition tool as a way to drive improvements in student and workforce wellbeing and thank them for their support for the process over the last six years.

When the Healthy FE and Skills Group met in March 2015 we acknowledged it was no longer possible to offer Healthy FE recognition via this website.  We discussed alternative self-evaluation tools and agreed to recommend to the sector the Workplace Wellbeing Charter<.

The Charter is a nationally recognised tool that offers a similar self-assessment approach to identifying student and workforce wellbeing.  You can work through three levels of competence in a range of health and wellbeing indicators and gain external recognition and support for developing practice.
